Michael has worked for SKIDATA since 2003 and as Operations Manager for Austria is responsible for a large team. He first learned about SKIDATA through a job vacancy in quality assurance – at that time, he was still an IT & systems management student at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and was not familiar with the company. Service Management ensures the problem-free operation of SKIDATA solutions. The team takes care of hardware and software during the entire life cycle of the product from its installation on. Thanks to technical advancements, many questions can be answered remotely on the phone or by remote servicing. „Some of our technicians are also local in order to provide the shortest travel time possible to our customers and thus the fastest support possible. This means a service technician“s workplace is not always the headquarters in Grödig near Salzburg,“ says Michael.
