Frankfurt/Munich – The AIRTEC 2015, 10th International Aerospace Supply Fair, will take place at its new exhibition ground, the Exhibition Center in Munich. The dates remain the same, from November 3 – 5, 2015.
Diana Schnabel, AIRTEC CEO/President, announced: „By taking this step we take account of different developments. We are happy to follow Bavaria“s call into a region which belongs to Germany“s and entire Europe“s strongest in the fields of aviation and aerospace. Furthermore, an event like AIRTEC, which experiences a yearly growth of about 30%, needs a certain dynamic concerning the right setting. We have finally found this in Munich.“
Ilse Aigner, Bavarian Minister of State for Economy and Media, Energy and Technology, welcomes this step: „I am looking forward to AIRTEC taking place in Bavaria. This certainly strengthens the position of our high-tech region Munich as one of the outstanding aerospace locations in Europe. Moreover, it perfectly fits the Bavarian strategy of enhancing international visibility and strengthening networks with international business partners.“
AIRTEC“s relocation was initiated by bavAIRia e.V., commissioned to managing the Cluster Aerospace by the Bavarian government. Horst Steinberg, member of bavAIRia Executive Board, explains: „We have accompanied AIRTEC for years and know that this is a tailor-made supply fair. It has the potential to become a central place for the aerospace supply industry in Europe. The congress will focus on the civil application of unmanned aerial vehicles as future technology.“
The Messe München International also sees itself confirmed in its strategy to host high-tech events: „The Munich Exhibition Center is looking forward to this high-level event. We will be a competent and highly modern new home for AIRTEC“, states Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Messe München International.
The 10th International Aerospace Supply Fair will take place from November 3 – 5, 2015 at the Munich Exhibition Center. AIRTEC is based on the three founding pillars: trade exhibition, B2B-Meetings, and a high-calibre international aerospace congress, focusing on the topics AERONAUTICS, UAV, HELI and SPACE WORLD/COMMERCIAL SPACE, AEROSPACE SENSORS, AVIONICS and TESTING. 600 exhibitors from 30 nations, nearly 12.000 B2B-Meetings, 230 lectures, and about 900 congress participants are expected at AIRTEC 2015.
