Here the measuring unit displayed by the pressure meter is not bar or Pa but a direct force unit like the SI newton. The number of different measuring areas are very high. As an example the pressure gauge series PCE-SCJN allows the display of pressures in pipework systems. A simple and self-explanatory operation characterises this pressure gauge as well as an integrated bargraph display with drag indicator function. The tendency of the operating pressure is directly shown on a display. There are even pressure meters with a SD memory card that can be used to store the measuring data. Thus the pressure can be determined directly on-site at machineries or constructions and later be evaluated on a computer.
